We had one of those glass piggy banks when I was a kid, and no, you do not have to break it to get the money out. You use a knife. Turn the bank upside down, slide the knife in the slot and shake gently. Coins will slide down the knife and out the slot. Its time consuming and kind of a pain in the butt, but it does work.

Hi Nicole! Enjoy your channel, but rarely comment. I loved the 70's and all the craziness I lived through...wearing those bell bottom jeans and tie-dyed shirts. Man, we were so cool! Flower power, everything is groovy, and peace man!! :)

Loved the jewelry asst you got at the end. We use odd pieces like that in the button bouquets we make. It looks like your good will prices in Minnesota (where I grew up) are like those in Indiana where I live now..there prices and selection are outrageous...It is more reasonable to shop at the antique store or other type of thrift store. Love your videos.. take care

Hi Nicole, you had a great shopping trip! I loved the jewelry and that heart with the rose on it! I used to have one of those little glass piggy banks and if you are patient you can take a table knife, insert into opening with bank upside down and coax coins out of it! Takes a little time but it works! TFS.❤😊

I used decals-Beatrix Potter, on the doors in my upstairs hallway because there are a lot of doors. My grandchildren are young and it helps them when they sleep over, and wake up. They know where Grandma and Grandpa’s room and the bathroom are if they are sleepyheads.😊

When you were showing the prices I kept saying, “Go to the bins Nicole”!😂 When you were at the furniture, I briefly saw an old suitcase that from the quick glance I got looked in great shape! I would have loved that! You can decorate and store at the same time. I had a bank like that as a kid but it was bigger and I used the knife method😂 LOVE the butter pats!!! And your adorable basket! Oh yaaay the tulips look great! Had those decals on my crib! Is it crazy that I remember that? 50+ years later😂 Beautiful frame. Oh love your little bunnies! Your shelves look great! Love the bunny book! Love flower pins I have a tapestry I pin them on for spring. Great haul.❤

*Nicole, I had to come back because I forgot to tell you 3 things: First, I* *L💕VE THE PINKISH BURGUNDY CHRISTMAS TREE - MORE LIKE A FUSCHIA COLOR - SO UNUSUAL❣️💖💕💝 And YES, it's perfect to display your Christmas ornaments this year at The Pink Elephant 🐘 💟💞💖 - especially if you decide to sell any Polish or German or Bavarian vintage ornaments that are pink with gold or silver accents in their design. As for your metal heart ornament, 💝 it is perfect for your home's Vintage Christmas 🎄 Tree AND for your VALENTINE'S DAY TREE, TOO❣️💟💕* *Second, the metal flower pins are from between 1967 and 1970 - they were from someone's collection - because no self respecting woman from that era would be caught dead without those FLOWER PINS on her dress or sweater set in EVERY COLOR TO MATCH EVERY OUTFIT SHE OWNED...and EVEN BETTER IF YOU OWNED THE MATCHING EARRINGS❣️😂👍🏼😉 Ask me how I know⁉️🤣🤣🤣* *Third, the choker-length string of glass pearls is from the 40's through 50's and since I collect vintage pearls and other jewelry, I can tell you that is a QUALITY MADE NECKLACE and I would look for the Hallmark, because it could be worth as much as $30 to $50, depending upon the manufacturer. 😉*

Hi Nicole- Love the puppy decal you found! I remember bear decals (like the ones on your jar) on my brother's crib headboard in the 1960's. The picket fence basket is perfect for displaying the tulips. The flower pins are fun, too. Definitely, a good assortment of finds!

*Nicole, I L💚VE 🌺🍃 the Picket Fence Basket - and the TULIPS 🌷🌷🌷 ARE PERFECT FOR IT❣️💛🧡 They are GORGEOUS 😍 and what a FABULOUS GIFT FROM YOUR FRIEND❣️💛🧡😉* *The reason the top of the Coffee Carafe is orange is to indicate it contains Decaffeinated Coffee - this is a piece that was used in a restaurant. 😁 The Carafe for the Regular Coffee with Caffeine had a brown or black lid, depending upon which color looked best with the colors in the design of the body of the Carafe. 😊 See the trivia a person knows as they "mature" - which is just a kind and diplomatic way of calling myself old⁉️ LOL - hahahaha.🤣🤣🤣*

It is a hallmark series. It started in the early 1980s. My oldest daughter was a baby when the series started. (she is soon to be 41!) And usually every decade they added a second one to collect. Very cool find!
