That stool took me back 55-60 years. We had some when I was a child. Camping stools we called them. We also had cots made very similar. ❤️

The little folding stool was originally used for camping. The fabric was usually a heavy duty canvas for strength. We camped a lot when I was a kid and always had several of the stools for sitting around a campfire. Good memories!

Back in the 1970's I started tole painting. Our county extention office offered hiw to books with copies of items to paint. That picture is one that I painyed on an old enamelware coffeepot that I still have today❤ The thin paper was used so you could see the image through it like tracing paper. I looks great in the frame you picked out and un the styled vignette.

I love all the projects of course! But the thrifted artwork in that natural wood frame is gorgeous. I also love the little folding bench. I wish I could find one, cause I really need one to use as a suitcase bench at our cottage. They are so expensive to buy! I love what you I’d with yours and the addition of the little “shelf” at the bottom. Genius!

Hey Julie❣️You look absolutely beautiful today btw😄 I love how you upscaled that little broom…and that color is fabulous. I have seen that color on lots of old pieces before. As a matter of fact…I have a darling chippy vanilla white chair by my side of the bed. I paid $3 for it at a local thrift store…and if you look close, you can see that exact green color peeking out from under the vanilla white paint. And this chair is Old. 🤭 I also love how you transformed that little stool …you have such a creative mind! I never would have thought to use old belts like that…or to use them as trim. Thats a great idea 💡

Loved the folding stool. BUT, I LOVED THE PEAR !!!!! I look for art all the time at my goodwill. I've only ever found one piece that I've brought home. It's a painting of a boy and girl sitting in the grass in front of a country church. I love it. But I've never found anything else! You always find nice art pieces!
