Today my Mum and I are thrifting one of our favorite Goodwill locations here in Las Vegas! I have my Thrifting Vegas blanket and my reuseable shopping bags ready. Today, they were stocking the shelves and brought out 5 new carts almost as soon as we walked in. Between us we found so many amazing treasures, including a lamp from the early 1900's! Thrift with us for some unexpected items, learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. I have an idea for you . When you do your recap, you should have a tripod to set your phone on . Aim it at a table that's accessible from all sides that you place your finds on . That way both hands care free . No need to have 3 hands then . Plus, you'll save extra money on nail polish not having to do an extra set of nails😀. Kari will love that mug . The paper weight by McDougal, I've seen it up here in Calgary . It was in a consignment store here . I believe they had a price of 150.00 on it .

Don't think that lampshade is original. The $1.99 tag on the inside looks like it was a separate piece someone just put on. It's a bit too plain and flimsy. Thinking it should have a green glass shade, being a desk lamp.

Hi Tiffany! Thrifting with your lovely English Mum was so lovely! My English Mum & I loved our shopping & thrifting trips together! Some wonderful finds with the 'Paper Weights', the gorgeous Pier One Shell Vase, Victorian Lamp with brass letter holder were my favourite finds. My mum used to work at the tin factory at Mansfield in Nottinghamshire, England. This was when I was very young in the sixties. They made trays and different things and she got my sister a Beatles tray which she still has.

Tiffany try blue Dawn on grease and oil. I use Dawn on most everything I want clean. Bottle under kitchen sink and in the laundry room. Great on clothes. Should work well also on the shell vase. Give it a try….. love the paper weights.

You mentioned the difficulty of removing the tape and stickers , I had a job once to send overstock back to a supplier ( pharmaceutical merch.) we had to remove stickers and we used a hair dryer to loosen the glue and sometimes it worked really well.

I have never had to soak the glass paperweights to get the price tag off..they come off very easily on their own. To bad the cord is new on the lamp. It looks like they applied that holder onto the base of the lamp. What a shame that GW put the price sticker on important info. Looks like your cats need bigger beds..LOL

Your German Sheppard Bear reminds me of my sister's dog Falco. I really loved that dog. For some reason he didn't like many people, but he liked me. He was all black and had a beautiful head. He was very handsome. 💓🐕 Tiffany, thanks for sharing times with your animals & hummingbirds. 🌹🐦
