I look at the history of this club on the EnglishFootballStats page, and they're actually a third tier club for most of the time (even after the Fourth Division was founded in 1958). They have played in the second division in some seasons (only seven seasons though). Their longest streak when playing in the second tier is 3 seasons from 2001 to 2004 They got relegated in 2004 in Division 1 which was the second tier of English football at the time before rebranding to the new name Championship. What makes it tough for them in the 2003/04 season was after beating Derby County in the 3rd of April, 2004, they were 6 points off the relegation zone with 6 games to go and they were on 48 points, playing the same amount of games as Derby County on 42 points and in 22nd. However, they went on a 5-game losing run after that, including losses against relegation rivals Burnley and Gillingham. Despite beating Rotherham United on the final day, they got relegated on goal difference by the tiny amount. They could have relegated Burnley or Gillingham had they got a point in either of those games, but they didn't. They got relegated despite accumulating 51 points.

The youth academy is pretty overpowered in FC 24, and you'll definitely need the help when you rebuild Canadian football. They have a strong attack and decent midfield, with the likes of Jonathan David, Ismael Koné, Alphonso Davies etc., but their defense is very weak, so using the YA there will be crucial!

Yes, let’s say for example you’ve scouted a ST who looks like he’s got better defensive stats than attacking, go to the development plan & see how long it would take to convert him to a defender, if it’s 4 weeks or less you’re more often than not onto a winner and a big upgrade

I've noticed this since FIFA 14. All the "big" footballing countries give you absolutely terrible youth prospects. You'll find better prospects in countries that traditionally aren't as strong. No joke, I once found 4 good prospects each from Algeria and Morocco in FIFA 19.
