Just fitted these back to Leaf. Went brilliantly last year No surprises That’s what it should do . Just go and not to be noticed . Trying all seasons this car , over nankang winters . I think they are just as good as a cheap winter. I think the compound would be harder for summer running. Hope I made best decision. Definitely better in cold than my Michelin summers in cold

I had these from 2017 till this year. Now I have the Gen3 in front. I drove in 40 cm of snow in the Low Countries (NL and just over the border in Belgium too where it is 300-700 m high with steep hills). It had zero problems. Just great tires and it seems the Gen3 is even better (not that I noticed).

And how they do behave in 30C+ summer? No problem with being too soft or something?

@@Aldek1981 No. In 2019 we hit 40,9 C outside the city where I live. Day before 36 C. I was working in my house and slept in another city. So I had to drive there and back and on the particular hot day to the coast. Everything was fine I have to say. But to be honest: I do not extensively test them on those days. Tomorrow and the next few days we'll have a blizzard here in The Netherlands and some pretty low temperatures below -5 C as maximum and possibly to -20 C as minimum. So let's see how they will behave when there is a lot of snow and how the compound works when it is a deepfreezer outside..

@@Aldek1981 I will...it is starting to freeze as I write this and it is snowing. So yes the next 10 days at east there is going to be the coldest week of this century and then some over here. Testing tires. Icespeedskating and my daughter has her langlaufski's ready to go...I have also picked my dash cam so who knows I can reply with some footage. Where you live, no winterweather currently??

@@Serenoj69I live in Poland and we have winter here, but for many years till now I have been using proper winter tires. But I usually do like 10k km per year and since lockdown it is like 5k now. That's why I have started to look around for all weather tires. And now, where I live ,this is like first proper winter for last 5-10 years or so. Usually it is just rainwater and mud...

I have already made on them 17000 miles and they still have about 4-5 mm on front. The grip on snowy climbs was sufficient. I was driving on them a lot in Europe this summer and were ok for me.

I have used 1st gen. of this tyre on 2 cars. The tires were very silent and performed very well. There was no problems with snow or wet roads. But I was surprised how good they performed in muddy conditions which was important for me. They lasted me 8 years. After they were done I bought 2 sets of Michelin CrossClimate plus. Also very quiet tires, but the performance on mud is really bad - compared to GoodYear it was terrible. Worst than GoodÝear after 8 years of use. Now we plan to buy a new vehicle and plan to buy this 2nd gen GoodYear. Do you guys now how they perform in muddy conditions? Thanks.

Nie wiem. Tak dawno nie jeździłem na oponach zimowych, że nie mam odniesienia. Mogę jedynie napisać, że w warunkach zimowych mają duża przewagę nad oponami letnimi. Co wiecej sprawdziły sie podczas zimowych wyjazdów do Austrii.

mkm I’ve just put a set on my Mitsubishi ASX 4x4, ready for winter. Seem good in the wet, not too noisy, but not tested in the snow yet, although all the reviews I’ve read sing there praises.

professor mcgorgeous strange, my experience with these in the wet is good, really impressed up to now. I suppose different cars/driving styles are a big factor.

@@matttaylor7326 I just feel the front end sliding on poor quality and good quality surfaces in the wet, wheel spin aswell annoys me, dry grip is fine had crossclimate on before wished I'd just stayed on them 😂
