i agree, i just think its less about them having battlers/league owners there and more about having credible people there. I do feel like a huge part of this is fan opinion. the panel is supposed to in some sense be an extension of the fans but it doesnt feel like it. people felt like Minnesota Luke shouldnt have been there....honestly, i felt like he was one of the few people actually felt credible enough to have an opinion. most of the panel i wouldnt know if it wasnt for Jayblac

I’m sorry, what does Jaz vs. Ms. Fit not happening have anything to do with how Jaz is ranked in the COTY Top 20? Ms. Fit hasn’t done a solo battle since 2019, meanwhile Jaz battled Charlie Clips, RX, Loso, Rum Nitty, Nu Jerzey Twork and Bigg K in 2023. Maybe if Fit was actually active I could see the point Goodz was trying to make, but to try to invalidate an argument for her not being in the running due to a battle not happening seems silly to me.

Here's what I don't understand. How does Jaz NEED to battle someone who currently IS NOT BATTLING!! MisFit is NOT OUTSIDE! How is Jaz running from someone who's NOT OUTSIDE! The only reason this conversation is even being had is because her name was mentioned as a COTY contender. Do I think she's going to win? NO. Do I think she will make top 10 (possibly top 5) on the list this year? YES. Do I think she's paving the way for a woman to possibly win COTY one day? ABSOLUTELY! What people fail to understand is, that's the whole reason WOTY was created in the first place. To acknowledge the women who were competing at a high level, in a MALE DOMINATED ART FORM. Now that those women are moving up the COTY list, the men are crying about WOTY. It's a real shame.
