Yeah, those lures look pretty dead in the water, replacing the dressed rear treble would help a bit but eh. The Mirrolure Surface Walker is three or four bucks at Walmart and has a great glide even if you add a dressed hook. The Animal 130 from Brazil is a cool lure that gets big fish, I was on a trip with Johnny Hoffmann in December where he got a 24 pounder and several other good ones with it (check out "Record de Tucunare Acu" vid). Going back on that trip next month and will bring back some extra lures we don't get here and would like to give you a few to try along with some different stuff we picked up in Australia. As you know these peas down here will usually hit about anything but it really helps to mix it up when they're finicky, I hate soaking live bait. Friday in south Palm Beach we whacked 47 peas and lost several more good fish, 8 bass and 2 big Mayans in that lousy weather until it really started coming down. I watched one good one come up and eyeball my Mirrodine then head back down, a pause and a twitch and he choked it. The snakeheads weren't in the mood to play though they usually love that weather.

@@rupiofishing1974 I'll be back from Brazil 12/23 and will get you hooked up. Going to Colombia 1/27 but haven't seen any tackle shops there with much. They were really chewing last week, it's usually more like a dozen or so fish. Yesterday in my back yard they were all lit up and hitting, thought they'd be shut down from the "cold" front.
