LOJO bro I'm from Tucson, about 100 mi south of PHX, sux they sent u there because everything bad u guys were experience is the truth, getting shanked the ppl lol. Can't say stuff in the comments about that place. Too "gangsta" and some reason they don't like us from down South. Weird. There's a pretty good variety of fish in AZ, but you're going to have to travel to find them. Also, AZ is about the stream and river fishing, lakes here are much more difficult IMO.

Glad to see you guys fishing my backyard in AZ, but sorry you had to start at Encanto park at night! LoJo, you are right to be sketched out by the water. All of the nearly all the urban “lakes” in Phoenix are well let’s just say swampy! Tons of algae! But if you guys are ever in town again I would suggest Papago Park. It’s right by the airport, next to The Phoenix Zoo. Otherwise I’d say you boys need to hit Lake Pleasant, or Bartlett Lake. Both of those are very close enough to town to get a room, or camp at, and deep reservoirs.
