Please do explain how to get the "conversion value" into the standard reports.

Thanks for your very detailed explanation. One tip, a lot of the action in the video is at the bottom. E.g. from the 5 minute mark. Non native speakers might have captioning enabled which will overlay the things you have to see.

You need a datalayer to pass those events ,implement the datalayer and you'll be able to do so.

Ben, where should we see the data/value being reported in Google Analytics? I can see the conversion, but there's no value/revenue? (even though I have it set to $500 USD

Hi Benjamin. Many thanks for your great tutorials 👍. I really love your videos 😀. Do you know if the way you have configured the new conversion event in GA4 with the parameters "value" and "currency" (in your case USD) is also taken correctly into account in the GoogleAds optimization algorithm for the bidding strategy "Maximise Conversion-Value" (assuming of course that GA4 is linked with and sends conversion events to GoogleAds)? Or does GoogleAds take other parameters (like e.g. "Ecommerce revenue" or "Product revenue") for the optimization into account? Thanks

Hi Benjamin, thanks for the cool video. I have the problem that the conversions and the conversion values of my sales are not transferred to GA4 (Before GA4 I used an gtag event snippet in Shopify). Adding a static value on the event "thank-you"-page will not help me in this case. Do you have any recommendations on how to connect the sales on my website to GA4? Thanks =)

Hi. I have a SKU list for which I need to create a segment in Google Analytics. Is there a limit when we use "is any of" container in the segment. and How we can use it - By Commas or Space???

Would love a video on how to see which events lead to conversions in the free form report. e.g. if you had a custom event like used_filter which had a custom dimension of filter_name, be good to learn how to build a report that shows which filters lead to the highest conversions.

Will assigning conversion values in Google Analytics effect my cost per click in Google Ads?

No. It won’t.

Hi Benjamin. Great video. I would love to know how to show the revenue value from a contact form submission. As we do not have an online store I have an average value for how much a contact form submission will bring me. My current workaround in GA4 is to have 2 events fire when a contact form is submitted - one with my custom event name for the form and one with a "purchase" event name that shows the revenue value. It would be great to combine these together somehow.

Hi, Benjamin - Are we required to use a currency type? My clients are all leadgen with a wide range in the revenue generated from the same forms. Over the years we have used the idea of points rather than dollars, the most valuable action available on the site is 1,000 points, the least valuable 200 points with the rest distributed between. In UA the interface and reports default to currency and show dollar signs. This didn't interfere with the intent of the point system, but it confused the devil out of anyone not briefed on it. If we can eliminate this confusion in GA4 by not assigning a currency that would be very useful!
