Hi, can you plz explain how to do this using Gatsby JS? I have a code for google tag manager which takes consent from users before activating. But partytown doc only shows how to do it in gatsby-ssr which isn't applicable in my case since I have to activate it in client-side. Iam wondering how to do it in the client side. I activate the manager in gatsby-browser.

I wish I could, but I haven't used Gatsby before. Since it's react, I would guess the generic React docs would work? Sorry I can't be of more help!

If you do it incorrectly it can ruin the analytics (gtag) for you. Showing less engement time then you have and showing less users.

Are you loading a third party script with the button load? Partytown is concerned with page load. So as far as I know it wouldn’t touch anything past pageload.

@@CodinginPublic yea, did some digging and realized it really is best for things like google analytics. My use case was for an intensive function that slowed down the fps in a canvas/browser game so probably gotta look elsewhere
