I used this platform, with limited knowledge, early last year and throughout, but had to lean heavily on it when the pandemic picked up steam. Now, over the summer, I'm trying to educate myself so to more effectively use online tools such as Google Classroom. I have tried to create an assignment using Google Forms for a 10 mark question that requires students to write a paragraph in response to a set text (that I insert in the form). When I try to mark the submissions however, I can not insert my comments. What am I doing wrong please? 2. Why should I collect students' email addresses? 3. If a feedback form is created automatically after each assignment, why should I create a separate spreadsheet?... Thank you once again!

Each class would need its own Google Classroom. On the main page you can click on the plus icon and select create a class.

Great job on this video. I use the google classroom to teach ESL to adults. Some of the students have issues turning in their work so it sends me a blank page. There is a language barrier. Is there an easier way to make this simple for them?

It a not built in but linking the Google Meet to a Classroom is fairly easy to do. You simple create the meet, then add the link under attachments. Hope this helps

Awesome Please, need some explanations for the classwork Google Drive folder, and it's permission. When I grant my students access to the class folder, and they come to upload their work. In the teacher folder, nothing will appear. Any advice FYI, I grant them all higher rights on the classroom folder but the file still not showing up in the teacher folder.

Your videos are great. Thanks. Can you give me an easier way to take my Microsoft Word Documents and use them in Google Docs. Do I need to make a pdf. of each file? Then what do I do? Google drive can either convert the documents or natively read these now. Upload your document to Google drive prior to using them and you should be able to open the files. I will make a video on this as soon as I can.

I wish Google Classroom will show the *full date* (such as *Friday, April 3* instead of just “Apr 3”). It helps students identify which days of the week the assignments are due. Hope there is an option to display the full dates. 👍👍👍👍

Great tutorial, about upload your own image for your class, google classroom by default will always make the image opaque a little bit dark, for the moment there is no way to make it brighter (like google sites), so the best option is select a theme.

Totally wonderful, helpful and clear tutorial. I'm using google classroom for Waldorf Third Grade in a public school in the USA. I'll be asking parents to send me photos of their child's art work, cursive writing, spelling and math quizzes etc. Not too much marking going on in a traditional sense as it's early grades Waldorf, but a great place for me to communicate, send out work, and use as a central place to track and view students' work.
