Sethi, a few weeks ago I discovered "accidentally" that now you can put horizontal and vertical guides and, moreover, with absolute precision. If you double click on the rules, a menu with options appears. Moreover, if you right-click on an already located guide, another menu is displayed that allows you to modify the guides further (color, position, create, delete). A fantastic help to position elements. Great tutorial you presented today, thanks!

I'm used to Smart Notebook. I'm trying to use google to model regrouping (think second grade). I like using the scribble tool under lines to show how to cross out and rewrite numbers. Is there a better program or way to do it? Can you quickly erase and go back to a blank screen? Can you make it default to a thicker or different colored line so it's like that every time you open up?

You can import the image and select crop. Then click on the drop down arrow next to crop the image to the selected shape.

this app might be the application I was looking for a long time. you can create mindmaps, excel cells(grid system), flow charts, etc. you can create collages of images. might be good for story writing and creative work. It is also free and transferable in another file format. One of the problems with mind map software is they are not free mostly and can not transfer to other file formats. there is always anxiety behind the mind that I will lose the file where I put 100 hours.

Hi, thank you for your question. Everything reared with the drawing tools such as lines and shapes is a vector. You can export the file as a svg(scalable vector graphic) Hope this helps.

How do I save a Google Drawing so that when each individual student opens it is a refreshed page? I don't want one student to see the answers of the student who opened the Drawing before them.

If you use Google Classroom, create an assignment, add the Drawing file from your Google Drive, then go next to the document and select MAKE A COPY for each student. They will then have their individually named copy of your file.
