It's just a Google thing to do , there were so many duplicate Gapps before they slowly started shutting them all down. I just hope Google stars polishing up their apps instead of flooding the user with more apps that may or may not last more than 2-3 years. Honestly very frustrating being a fan of Google for so long. Google should work on refining what they have now before making more Gapps. Gapps still have a lot of small annoying bugs that impact the user experience in day to day use. I really want to see Android succeed and I am not planning on switching to IOS anytime soon. Both platforms could really learn a lot from each other.

There is another issue that arises when you have multiple language setups, such as Arabic and English. Sometimes, when you speak a command in English, it gets transcribed into Arabic script. For instance, if you say "What's the weather like right now," it may be heard as "وتس ذا ويذر لايك رايت ناو" and typed in Arabic script.

The thing to be worried about was the gps tracking of your every move, even though it's just your friends who got their gps active. Right now it would be too expensive to listen to everyone, so the next thing to worry is when when the AI data processing is locally done on your phone.

Great video, tried this in the UK but pretty much everything i ask it to do says it cant do it. The main one for me is playing music from Spotify. I use this in the car so until it can do that its a pass from me.

The problem with Gemini right now is that it doesn't recognize my Google Assistant commands to Activate my Routine Command words that I set on GOOGLE HOME. I usually use these words to "Turn ON All The Lights" or "Good Night" to turn off all the lights and things like that.

Interesting. As of today (April 5th, 2024), I can export Gemini's answers to Docs perfectly fine. However, I tried the exact same prompt that you used for Spain vacation and the answer was pretty much a downgrade from what you got. No images, no cards, Google Flights didn't work. I'm using Gemini Advanced too. Perhaps it's a location issue? I'm from Argentina.

Installed the APK in Australia today and when i open the app and press the "get started" button it says the system language is not supported. I tried with English UK and English US and says the same thing so apparently English language is not supported.

it's not that it doesn't recognise clothes, rather it doesn't accept any photos with faces in them, so you can just paint over your face to hide it and it'll work just fine.

Issues : 1. Screen search don't work at all as Google assistant, which was the most useful feature of this assistant app 2. It always takes you directly to the app to show the results where previously on Google assistant it used to show results in a pop-up view. This two problems really annoys me
