I still don't know what Google's strategy was with soft releasing this product, but I still think something like Glass has a future... This project was simply 15 years ahead of our time

This is the first tech product I've seen that is more about what it can do for you or anyone than what its specs are. That's so cool. People have been taken down a wrong path somewhere in the last ten years chasing figures and technical correctness over novel functionality and that is really sad. We need to correct course and go back to what technology was really for in the first place. This doesn't mean bad specs or bad quality, just a focus on novel functions that can actually change the world. First person video diary logs is a game changer.
