@Kacey Johnson I've recently figured it out. You will need to reset the entire thing then it will work! Reset it by holding two fingers on the dots until it resets.

Great video - I have a new router / internet service and have been unable to connect my google home mini to it. Would you by chance know of a workaround? Factory resetting the device, connecting to the IoT wifi, etc, does not work.

I got a new router and Google Home didn't work anymore. Would not find my WIFI but I simply didn't give up. If you have a private and a business email address on your phone, Google Home might get confused and you have to make sure that you use the correct email address. But I agree with all of them here who say that the process could be easier, particularly if you change your Internet provider or router.

Mine won’t find the device after I add my address, it just takes me to a page where I can change the setting and add networks like Netflix or Hulu. Not seeing anywhere that I can connect to my wifi either. The Google mini home just says it’s not connected. like the features, setup was difficult for some of my devices (August Door lock, kzbin.infoUgkxhB5YOMNj04GuoAosExygP4cH-dKeb4aB Bose speaker)... but all switches and outlets (5), thermostat, tankless water heater. Unfortunately all I can do is turn on/off Bose. It doesn't support volume or changing channels, but I believe that is due to the particular speaker I have.... Worth getting if you already have other devices to use it with... I don't sit around and ask Alexa questions much so that doesn't really matter to me....

I was having major problems reconnecting my Google Mini after having it offline for a considerable time and a change of router. To finally solve the problem I deleted the app on my iPhone and reinstalled it. Took care of the problem and it works fine now.

Hi guys. My google home was never connecting. I thought it was because my apt building wifi was bad but I did a factory reset and it helped. In case someone is facing this issue. To factory reset just press the tiny Botton for 10 secs on the device. And then just restart the device.

Nope. Doesn't work. Garbage! I just changed my Wifi and when I click on my Network name, the password portion never comes up. I click Next and guess what? It doesn't find my network because it NEVER shows a place to put my password. I think I will smash this Google Home because it sucks ass!

For guys who can't connect to WiFi: You need a factory reset: press and hold the Microphone On/Off button on the rear of the speaker for approximately 15 seconds.
