I have 4 like the "Nothing like This" and really like them. The ones I have the wire is hidden 100% on the inside though and the mini fits inside a circle. Ive had them for about 6 months with no issues as they just hang there.

I can see a drawback to this wall-plug (white color one) will fall out due to cats love to jump on to an item look like a step to them, as for the black one both speakers on them will let pets get to them, especially small pets, cats, weasel, even rats, small dogs that love to chow down on plastic cords and dogs-joys best keep out of reach of pets elec-outlet plugs speakers in not good mix-with pets just be careful when using them!

These are two solid options. However I ended up going with "mini back pack" by a company called dot genie. The reason was it comes with its own short cable and I didnt have to wrap the cable up. Another good video!

Agreed! It trumps all of them imo. I have 4. It does not block the other outlet. The mute button is not blocked. The orientation is right. No need to wrap the cord as it comes with it's own short connection. a kid was able to stand up, reach across the table, and knock the home mini onto the floor - so the solution is to attach them directly to a plug socket meaning the high voltage socket is going to be lit up light a christmas tree and attract the kid...hmmm...

Squampas! New Word. Synonym for Wonky. I like it. Oh that's great the mini can have its buttons flip. Those are nice mounts for sure. Hum would be nice to have something like this for a desk because when I move my mini I always hit the volume on accident. I try not to touch it so would be nice to have something to pick it up with.

I would buy a few as I have been trying to find something that would stick on my kitchen Google home mini but none of the 3M double sided tape would stick to the rubber part of the Google home lol! I mounted my Google Home Mini with industrial strength Velcro Strips. You'll need to apply a little super glue to the bottom of the Google home mini for the Velcro strip to truly stick.

I had a service socket fitted in my roof so I could hook mains power to my ring 2 doorbell. currently I I just have a power pack board with spring loaded covers that cover the unused sockets (surge protected of course) but I am planning on fitting extra service sockets in the roof, I also just replaced one of my wired smoke detectors with a nest Unit, (not sure if you have tried them yet but they are worth the money) plan on fitting one inside my roof cavity ( just in case I ever have an electrical fire with all the extra wiring a bit of "piece of mind") when the alarms sounds it tells you exactly which alarm has gone off no matter where you are, all the alarms connect to each other wirelessly.

Bret I searched quit a while for a good Google Mini mount and came across one from Dot Genie called the Mini Back Pack. It comes with its own power supply and mini power cord and mounts securely on one side of a recepticle with a dummy ground plug for stability.
