I am in week two of the first class. We are going through the foundations right now. But I’ll stay with it. Great information as always. Thank you for your time.

I don think as an introductory course it is bad for software development I mean first of all it really tunes your basics right and introduces you to the intracasies of variety of tools that you might come accross and at this price point the quality of course is superb for someone new to programming

10:24 I was waiting for the part when you said that you took it too. All I'm hearing are your thoughts. They sound honest but you can't imagine how many reviews I've bumped into without mentioning of taking advantage of this "opportunity". I've seen some reviews that actually took it but I want your 20+ years expertise on it. I appreciate your 20+ years experience in IT, but I'm looking for reviews of those that say they’ve actually done the course. I'm looking forward to your timely follow-up.

Then either don't look further for youtube videos on those Coursera/Google/IBM/Meta certificates or be reallly mindful in watching "the right one". Maybe 90% of those videos "reviewing" these certification courses actually only gloss over the outline and GUESS that this probably good and blah.. Action plan for you: STOP SEARCHING KZbin and AUDIT the course for free. You can look into each course of each professional certificate and do about 80-90% of the course, just not the graded assignments and .. get the certificate at the end. DO IT! 🙂🤘

would you recommend their introductory level course on IT Support Certificate prior to taking this one or does it matter?
@akin2420022 жыл бұрын
Yes! Some terms won't make sense without it. It helps make things a lot clearer. Especially linux commands and network issues.
@akin2420022 жыл бұрын
I found it to be great from a practical purpose standpoint. Especially unit testing, Git/Github process, troubleshooting, and configuration with the cloud ☁️.

I love Python...so succinct, so powerful, so useful.

Either way even in college you still only know basics and no where near industry level. Regardless of where you learn something you always have to be willing to learn more. It never ends regardless of your career. accept the fact that you will die never knowing everything.

although this is very helpful but can i ask you one question? with all the weekly assessment(which ones are really big and difficult) i try to solve it by myself but then i fail and then copy the solutions available online. How will i learn python and the other things related with this? i am getting those certificates but not at all satisfied with my learnings. What should i do? I am genuinely very concerned about my career. it will be really helpful if i get some advice.

Create your own projects and experiment. Learning by doing. You may have to change the way how you study if you are failing.

One question, is there an exam to take the certificate or not ?
@CrystalOmereife3 жыл бұрын
Yes, there is an exam after each week's module. Each module contains at least 4 weeks or more. Lastly there is a capstone project where u apply every skill you have learned from all 5 courses to complete the project
