Look at number 2 --> 2 =2 mines ; Now 2 connect 3 cell ; And we has 1 flag already , so **remain 1 mine in 2 cell (above 2-1 ) ** so look number 1 next to 2 --> 1= 1 mine ; Now 1 connect 3 cell (2-1-1) remember 2-1 = 1 mine ; so cell above the right 1 is safe Finally we have to guess cell above 2 or 1 is mine but in my experiment in this situation 2 is safe if you need for help see this link : minesweeper.online/help/patterns Enjoy 🙂

how can you click on a number to eliminate the tiles it touches?? I've never been able to do that with google minesweeper

Friend, That's call "Chording" How to chord Google Minesweeper? As stated above you can either do this by clicking both mouse buttons at the same time or by using the middle mouse button (which is pressing down on your scroll wheel). On mobile you can just double tap on a number (with the correct number of flags around it) and it will chord.
