Google Penguin Update Explained by Jason Hennessey of Everspark Interactive

Looking to better understand the Google Penguin algorithm update? Penguin was an internal code name at Google for a major update that was first announced on April 24th 2012. This update sent shock waves through the SEO and Webmaster communities. It was an update targeting websites that were in violation of Google's Webmaster Guidelines, specifically as it relates to using "black hat" techniques to artificially increase page rank and search engine results by way of unnatural link building. Thank you for this video! Your diagrams to explain the Google search results were incredible, cute, and very effective!! For those who are even slightly interested in Google or searches, this really sums up the history & reasons for the Google Penguin refresh. But, unfortunately it really shows the mess/challenge of trying to automatically (algorithmically) rank pages... I hope that Google is up to this difficult task!

Yeah my second video of yours I have watched on christmas day hahah not stalking you honest :-) but again thank you . I have a site that has been hit way way back and im one of those guys that did the whole blog comments thing way back . Would a 301 to another domain be a good idea ? Or a double 301 from affected domain to a good quality 2.0 site then from there a brand link to a new domain ??

I've been google filtered. i freaked out and went out to delete the comments and spammy posts. will i naturally rank again or do i have to send a email to google for this? this is work for a friend
