Sun Rise not at all... Every year Apple bring out processors that are ahead of the competition, this year is no different. They have a great screen (Granted, it’s made by Samsung but designed and optimised by Apple), software optimisation, ram management... The camera on the Pixel 4 is pretty much the same as last years Pixel 3, they’ve gone lazy on the camera software. Let’s wait until the Pixel has a few software updates and Apple brings out Deep Fusion to give it a second chance!

Both samsung and apple did a fantastic job with the camera...and even google (while not having the best camera) still having really good quality...you can compare the camera's all you want but are you really going to notice when they are not side by side? I think if you give a professional photographer an apple or samsung phone he/she wil make some incredible photo's and wih incredible quality hahaha my point is that phones are getting close to or even better than some 1k+ camera's from a few years ago

Parth Malani to be honest the camera feature was available way back in the Sony Ericsson phones. Doesn’t mean it was as good or as well thought out. My problem with Huawei is that though they might impress in a KZbin video with isolated features as an overall experience they aren’t really as competitive. Just not as polished and again I say that having never owned one but rather looking at people that have done more than isolate features for comparison and look at that overall experience.

you dont understand the difference between Chinese philosophy (just have a nice looking data sheet) and Apples philosophy (attention to detail and finetuning) On paper the cameras of samsung, huawei, oneplus look better and more advanced but when it comes to reality the "only" 12 MP camera delivers better images and videos than the 48 ones of the chinese manufacturers. Same with the chip and performance. iPhone 11 pro only needs 4GB of ram to get a better performance than they accomplish with 8 or 12 GB ... This continues with battery - iPhone got less mAh but longer lifetime.... Life is not about nice looking data sheets ;)

1. IPhone 11 Pro ( by a slight margin) 2. Galaxy note 10+ 3. Pixel 4 XL (by far margin) I expected pixel to take lead massively but its struggling here, it would be a joke against Huewai Mate 30 pro. I think apple has taken back the crown, along with Huawei mate/P30 pro. I am amazed at how consistent iPhone video is. Galaxy is awesome too.. Disclaimer : I never liked iPhone after iPhone 4s.so I am not isheep. I believe in giving credit where its due

My thoughts: *Iphone:* more natural looking pictures , and much better dynamic range ... and wider lens overall... The front facing camera has many cool features Ultra wide is the best of all phones *Samsung:* pictures have more saturation to make them seem more pleasing to the eye... The 960fps slow mo feature is just amazing *Pixel:* Mostly good in low light, and astrophotography... However the low light pictures seem over exposed No ultra wide ... I honestly think the huge camera bump is ugly Iphone: 8/10 Samsung: 7.5/10 Pixel: 5/10 Pixel belongs in 2017-18

I think I prefer the colors of the Note10 overall. It's definitely clear though that it does over blow photos but I think that can be accounted for by lowering the exposure a bit. Also is it me or does Google make the colors look fake in their night photos? Either way I don't think you can go wrong with any of these phones well except for the blunder that is the lack of wide angle on the pixel (seriously what was google thinking?)

Overall I say samsung wins. It is so close in video despite being a three year old sensor and it has night mode that can be activated manually. Sharper wide angle lens with stablization and night mode. Super slow motion, better audio etc

It doesn't have a fingerprint scanner, it doesn't support USB Type C which is just ridiculous, it doesn't have a high refresh rate display, and Siri is still atrocious compared to the likes of Google Assistant and Alexa - mind you though, it's still better than Bixby. The reason reviewers are referring to software optimisations is that that's exactly what made the Pixel camera so great, not the lens, but the software that drove it. Everything about the Pixel camera, like any other smartphone camera, can be altered through software, all it takes is one tweak here and one tweak there and it could be instantly improved, only time will tell, just drop the saltiness, it's a phone...
