Appreciate the comparison! Video quality definitely better on the 5 but I gotta say I prefer the audio on the 4a. Also the still shots are basically identical. Might be some natural bias because I just got my 4a and Im loving everything about it 😁

@@Smitty6018 it's good! I've had both the 3 and the 2xl and this one does better than both. It last me at least 24hrs with moderate to heavy use and 1 day and a half with regular use.

I pre-ordered and canceled the 4a twice due to the lack of proper reviews of the 5. At the last minute, pre-ordered the pixel 5 a day before it shipped. So glad I spent the extra $$ 1. Longer battery life. 2. Bigger Screen, higher refresh rate, deeper contrast, higher brightness, greater pixel density. 3. Better pictures and way better video. 4. Waterproof. 5. Wireless charging. 6.No hole in it ( headphone jack) cmon people it's not 1980! There is a thing called Bluetooth 5.0!

From UK store Pixel pre-order came with Bose QC35 II which made the bundle absolutely worth it since I'm planning to sell the Bose unopened making the Pixel 5 quite the deal. I was otherwise planning to go with 4a until I learned about the bundle deal.

Front camera on the Pixel 5 has better dynamic Range and better sharpness. And de audio has less noise in the Pixel 5 Only one error that a lot of KZbinrs do... you can´t show 60fps video taken with the Pixel 5 if you upload on KZbin on 30fps...

yeah, pixel 5 has better color grading/saturation regarding video recording, while the pixel 4a has a better mic input

Honestly I think they both sound really really close. And the 4A is a fantastic device. There's some situations where the 4a definitely sounds better than the Pixel 5. But from an overall perspective, The 4A is the device of the year for me

It was optimum possible authentic comparison Laired. Actually it was so much easy for me that I had only option of 4a. I just ordered an hour before in it's very first sale in India on Flipkart. 3x CA is greater than rarely available 5G networks. Even I do not think 5G is great upgrade to 4G+. It's network coverage is too short per tower even in long wavelength as well extremely worst mm wavelength.A lot of WIFI routers have bettercoverage than 'G added in 5'(5G) with a lot better speed. They should had given more time on development of 4G to get it;s best result than creating worse technology for generating more incomes with new processors, smartphones, towers etc. I am waiting for 6G or Starlink and it's like techologies. What do you think???

Taking in consideration all the apps and scanning phones do in the background now 4-7hrs SOT is pretty impressive when grading by the bar system. Same for the price point when you compare with other devices that give you what the 4a is delivering. It's unfortunate but somehow still makes sense 🤦🏽‍♂️
