Another superb review as always. I would be VERY hesitant about buying another pixel, as my experiences with the poxel6 pro are less than good ! 10 months on and I'm STILL having problems with it. Random screen freezes and lock-ups seem to be the most prevalent issue.

It's the end of 2024 and I'm still rocking my GP7 Pro. I love this phone more than ever!!! Fast as lightning and the battery is good enough to last me on heavy usage until the end of the day. I'm Team Pixel all the way!!

Had my 7 Pro a few weeks now, absolutely loving it having move from a Oneplus 9 Pro. Although not a much customisation I do prefer this compared to Oxygen OS 13. One of the things I love with the 7 Pro is the themed icons.

I like your comment. First time I have ordered google pixel 7 pro big mobile from 02 network. I'm waiting to arrive. I am pleased that it has 128 GB. where I have most of some apps but still keep enough storage. Can't wait to take pics, listen to music or radio. The charge is not too bad as such. It looks like a cool mobile.

I went with the Pixel 6 just before launch of the 7, as I got a good cash price and there did not seem a massive upgrade to me, especially with the camera, which is the real big thing for me. Impressed with the Lamb of God sounds on the phone 🤘

Pixel 7 Pro upgrade? More like a love affair! Snaps pics like a dream, even in the dark, and the battery goes forever. Plus, Google updates are like clockwork, keeping everything tight. But hey, no phone's perfect. This glossy back? Fingerprint city. Body protection film seems like the move, but bulky cases? No thanks, they kill the vibe. Thinking a matte screen protector from gadgetshieldz might be the key. Solves the fingerprint frenzy and adds some grip without turning my phone into a clunky mess. Now that's what I call a game-changer.

Not a high graphics user, so the pixel pro does more than enough for me. The issues you've mentioned so far, definitely gonna be ironed out. Plus a free Pixel watch is bloody brilliant to let go.

Ordered the pro today, arriving Monday. Not a power user, battery life and camera the most important things for me and the free Pixel Watch worth over £300 makes it a no brainer. My only concern is that I've heard mixed messages about the battery life. Some saying it's amazing and up their with the iPhone 14 Pro Max and others saying it's awful and worse than the S22 Ultra. Hoping their issues were due to early software.

Despite the hate I grew to like my Pixel 4 a lot, i decided to upgrade purely because this was the oldest Pixel ATT excepted for the 800$ trade-in deal. Even after the reviews I'm still a little worried about how I'm going to like the massive screen size difference from 5.7inch to 6.7inch with a slight curve. But I thought I might as well get the 7 Pro when the 4 was already originally 800$ and even with the promotional deal I owed 200$ on the 4 while the 7 Pro I only owe 100$

Currently I'm using the Pixel 4a 5g and while this phone has been great my 7pro is arriving tomorrow! I got it in the hazel color. My cousin has a 6pro and talked me into upgrading. Tempted to upgrade from the pixel 6. With carphone warehouse trade in deal giving £390 for the 6 and selling the pixel watch for around 300 I could upgrade to the 7 pro for just 150. My biggest concern is battery. My pixel 6 has become poor over a year and died really quickly when using cellular.

I've just found your channel and I must say I absolutely love your reviews, they're very in depth and seem totally honest which is hard to find on KZbin now!! I'd love if you could possibly recommend an upgrade from the P30 Pro that I currently have. All threads I've found so far seem to say any upgrades have been downgrade! Most important to me is Camera, ip rating (I paddleboard and camp a lot) and battery life. 🙏

I have a P30 pro too, you will see a massive jump to the new Pixel 7 Series. I have been waiting for the S23U but I got the S22U because I got it for $700, which was a steal. But in short you will see a huge jump in performance, indoors, low light, zoom camera colors and detail. And a noticeable jump in speed.

It's nice that Pixel 7 and pro is here. But i wonder why they still don't use flexible oled display so they can make symmetrical bezels on the screen which is more appealing in my opinion.

Hopefully mine will arrive tomorrow from carphone warehouse. Traded in a old LG G5 for the £150 off that I was using as an alarm clock. Then I will look to sell/recycle my Poco F2 pro which is still a nice phone. Also sell the watch as I've already got a decent Fitbit thing. Got a nice deal so went for the pro over the regular. although I prefer the size of the regular I'm coming from a large phone so it won't be much different.

Do you have to wake the phone up before using fingerprint reader under the screen? I have the Xperia 5 II and love the quick reader that always works. I am not a fan of face unlock. I am trying to decide between the new Xperia 5 and the Pixel 7 Pro. Edit: i thought the imbalance of the speakers was me imagining things in the store... I use the phone a lot in bed watching TV or movies. The Xperia 5 II has excellent speakers. A clear con for me...

Much improved and brighter than the pixel 6 which was very low in brightness, still not on the same level as the s22 ultra or iPhone 14 pro max though.

I'm concerned about the XDA article pointing out the serious power draw the screen on the 7 Pro has when in high brightness. This could explain the conflicting reports on battery life.

The Google Pixel 6 Series and Pixel 7 Series are pretty much the SAME. Starting from the Camera Sensor and SoC. Camera sensor still uses ISOCELL GN1 and Tensor G2 only improves the quality of AI and Machine Learning.
