It's clearly a thing to worry about. 1000 nits is not at all a good value for operation under direct sunlight. For people who find themselves a lot in such conditions, it's definitely better to skip on such phones.

In every model of pixel have power button is above of volume button. In adaptive charging its control charging with slow charge after 80% or above. Battery saver is very good. If you enable it it works greatly. Probably you not use it, that's why you're saying its bot work. In night mode every pixel device takes best shot using night sight than any other model as Apple or Samsung. Processor is not much power hungry, its built on 5nm. But its definitely heats up with many heavy apps. For your testing it takes above 2 hours, probably you use your power bank. One more thing, don't use any type of 18 watt, use only pd charger that supports rapid charging. If adaptive charging is on then it takes more time.

@@pramitpatel3534 I'm using 7a. What I'm facing said earlier comment. In Summer this device creates heat using any heavy apps. Battery is ok, you can get 6-7 hrs sotty using as normal user. Charging speed is not fast, 18w, if you can go for 7 you will get 20w. If you want long time os update then go for 8.
