@@faroldmene6222 Terrible, which is a pity but I am noy a heavy user I dont play games I just use the internet and take photos and it just about last until later afternoon, I think the issue is the screen brighness as you have to have it on pretty much maximum to get a nice bright screen which then uses a lot of battery, and outside in the sunlight is terrible, a real shame oherwise I would keep it

Thank you for your tips. Great channel. I've been a fan of pixel. Had 4a prior to buying 7a. 2 things to add here in 7a: 1. The battery sucks (even after turning off 90hz). 2 The fingerprint on screen doesn't work at all, and I have tried all the methods. The physical sensor on 4a was great. This is one half baked product. The software is awesome though

The battery life is subjective the charging time sucks yeah the fingerprint scanner is dodgy but i found my left thumb fingerprint worked every time while my right one didn't 😕but yeah the Google assistant integration and software and camera video ect build quality and hand feel make this a love hate relationship lo, if u treat this like its ment to be as a smart smartphone and not a gaming phone persay it is a great phone to rock especially with buds pro ,, i get y most people sport two phones and a pixel is definitely one to keep in ur pocket along another

Some of the functionalities/features are not available exclusively on the 7A (which I now own), but also on the 4A for example (which I also own), so I would think they're Google Pixel features rather then Pixel 7A ones. Thanks all the same, interesting video 🙂

Ok, just got the 7a and was incredibly disappointed with the lack of customisation of the home page, widget options are so weak, not transition options for pages or the google bar, only options are for shades of colors of the app designs... Very cool features, though I have new phone (Samsung S21FE) but after watching all these new features it seems like I am missing a lot. 😂 Auto answer, speech to text and many other features can be pixel exclusive but that copy text from recent apps and save image to gallery is a very handy feature that should be roll out in next android update on every phone. One thing I like to point out that at 09:42 Custom stickers features on GBoard keyboard has been from quite a while now and not specific to Pixel phones only. Except battery drain everything seems smooth and video recording is great too, takes good still shots, Samsung one UI is known for one of the best software experiences and yes without doubt its live up to the hype. I have no experience with pixel phones so can't comment on that. My recommendation would be to not buy this phone if you are concerned about battery life and sometimes it gets a little warm when the CPU usage is high. Its battery doesn't last even for a day even with medium usages. You need to charge at least twice a day. Otherwise it has all the features of a premium phone.

Plus I'm trading in a 2019 Pixel 4 XL for £119, which I feel is pretty generous of them meaning it'll be £237.55, or 47.1% saving. I'm really pleased with that to be honest. I also suspect the May 2024 Pixel 8a will have another £50 bump up in price and obviously won't come with any sales until Black Friday in November and the Christmas sales too, so the 7a right now seems a steal. The first feature they talked about is so cool, getting your phone to talk to spammers. omg, now I can't wait for my phone to be delivered. hopefully by monday.

From what i find. It is first of the A series of phones to actually support wireless charging built in. Pixel 3 and on did as well but the A was designed to not support it to cut costs. I liked the review what all the OS supports.

I have to carry around a Pixel 7a and an iPhone 12 all the time. I must say that the Pixel 7a is more of a gadget and a jack-of-all-trades. Nevertheless, the iPhone 12 feels slimmer and has a significantly better battery life. Having said that, all these magic tricks can go down the drain when the batterly utterly fails you.

hmmm, watching this in January 2024. I don't know if it is because I'm in Canada on a 7a, the fact that I am over 50, or if "The Big G" decided to change things but, I do not seem to have the custom emoji stickers @09:39, nor the face rotate detection feature (I don't even have the auto-rotate menu as shown @10:13). :( The rest is wonderful to know and thank you for doing the work for us ! -signed 'An Old Canuck Fogey'
