I actually do not like Gemini as my AI assistant on my phone, not until I can run locally on my phone without requiring an internet connection that's kind of the whole reason I decided to buy a pixel is for on device AI not cloud AI.

I'm keeping my pixel 7a for now. I want to wait until google decides on how to integrate Gemini and google assistant into one AI system. Also the uncapped frame rate is annoying.

Bro it's overpriced trash. Besides the software and camera, nothing is good about the phone. Performance is very poor for its price range and it comes with overheating and connectivity issues. Buy a Samsung s series phone instead.

matte back is good in this model..But the frame shouldn't be of same color. Like you should have black frame with different back color. It looks awesome. Check pixel 4 series' design.

Google. I'm staying with you but I was terribly disappointed in the 8a. The screen quality is horrid (purple shifting on any tilt from looking head on), the battery doesn't last a day and the fingerprint sensor is blinding. I'm returning but as an "A" user (my 5a died) you should be ashamed. You went 4 steps back. I had to go to the 9.
