Once I finally got the buds to connect it's been working fine toggling back and forth between the watch and phone. Just the initial sync with the watch wasn't smooth at all for me.

I ended up buying the Spigen armor case and then I bought a Ringke bezel cover. I haven't received either but I have to tell you. If this watch was bigger, it would be perfect.

Just started watching your videos and have subscribed! I like your casual, talking to a friend video style. I agree with all of your points and am def getting a RIngke case. The only thing I wanted to mention is that the always on heart rate runs on the co-processor, which is a Google addtion to the Samsung chip that runs the watch. It's a low power chip and the heart rate monitor runs off of that so it doesn't impact the battery enough to make a noticable difference. Look forward to your videos sir!

@@TeamPixelReid I'm really enjoying mine so far. I am coming out of a Moto 360 Gen3 and this is a breath of fresh air. I lover that google finally overhauled the bits of wearOS so it's much easier to change and or customize dials and just all around navigating. How long does your battery last? Mine is still breaking in but its better than I was expecting...13 hours off the wrist and its got 46% and that's with being on the wrist all night for sleep mode.

When I turned off AOD I can usually get a full day. I charge before bed and use it for sleep tracking every night.

I bought the LTE version of the Pixel watch, and it works well for me. The battery life is okay. Could it be better? Definitely. It gets me through the normal workday, so I have no issues with it. As for the older SoC, you really don't notice it. Everything still runs smoothly with no jittering. As for the watch being too small, it's not that bad. It's the size of the average men's watch. I came from an Apple Watch 6 and I enjoy having customization and being able to use 3rd party watch faces and have thousands upon thousands of different watch faces to choose from. Overall, it works for me and I have no major complaints. My only gripe is the constant heart rate reading. That's the biggest battery drain on the watch and there's no option to make it check your heart rate periodically throughout the day. I do have to admit it's kind of cool watching your heart rate rise or lower in real time. Still, there needs to be an option to change that. Maybe a future update will give you that option. Sorry for the long comment. It was only supposed to be a few sentences but got longer while writing it.

Your review and others have convinced me to wait for gen 2. It's a bit awkward for now because I already switched to the Pixel 7, but I still have my old Apple Watch. When I buy a new smart watch, I want it to be proprietary. I just hope gen 2 comes in 44mm.

Same, I got the pixel watch and agree with every aspect, that's why I am pretty hyped about the next watch, so I can get a bigger size. I kinda think that Google will keep improving the ecosystem feeling of the pixel watch thru software.

I agree with allmost all points, in my opinion the size is the biggest drawback. And you could easily solve this by making a bigger version next year

I enjoy my pixel watch, the battery is just only slight inconvenience. I've haven't had it to where it died on me during my day but that's because I disabled some features and power save mode is enabled. Hopefully a software update can help with extending the battery life. 🤞

I have the pixel watch and I love the Watch 💕. Nice quality and design. Battery life sucks...... But it's not bad at all. Would love to have a bigger screen size. Fitbit premium is a little bit overpriced. I've use another 6 months free trial. Overall, I'm happy with the watch. Order the Google Pixel 7 Pro. Should arrive the next days. Great video from you!. You can't put in a 4 year old SoC, have missing features and apps, poor battery life, have a proprietary charging puck without qi wireless charging, use corning gorilla glass instead of sapphire crystal for the display, and hide extra fitness features behind a paywall... Then charge you $350 for the watch. Google really made a sub par watch. Luckily for me, I picked up for $185 (which is where the watch should be priced) by using the $200 credit for pre-ordering the P7 Pro.

Batter life is good if you're patient, there are cases for the watch and the extra fitness features are completely useless

I got it for $200. I can't complain. When I trade it in my pixel 6 pro they gave me a $200 credit at Google store and they gave me half off of the Pixel 7 pro. So everything worked out just sweet

I just returned my new Pixel watch. While I liked its design the two things I really hated about it was the vibration notification was barely noticeable and it was a pain switching bands. I'll stick with my Apple watch which is so much more versatile and simple to use in every way.
