correction: ABDM is not an insurance policy but an interoperable standard introduced by government so that health data can be centralised and accessed by the different doctors or hospitals with patient's consent. this reduces paper work, guess work and enables providers and patients to make better decisions.

If the data sits on the phone, what happens when a user changes their device? Google restores data from the cloud, including text messages when a user change their device. How does this work? Do we mean the data gets erased when the device is set to factory settings? How to restore the lost data from the device. There seems to be a gap here.

Thanks for taking up such topics.. it's hard to expect it from any news platforms. Looking at the overall lens I think these medical record will soon reach insurance companies and they will have history and record and easy way to mark up premiums and deny policies to many. Google will benifit a lot selling this data

Accountabilty when data gets leaked? No system is hack or data leak proof! And will Adani and ambani get the data through back channels to sell us insurance or health related products so those poor guys can make some money? :)
