I have a question regarding the static init() asyc {} in your preferences.dart file it's just another static method right? or does the init() means something in dart? also any particular reason you used a static method instead of creating a constructor which can create a SharedPreference object?

It’s just another static method. You can reduce one object in memory if it is static.
