Question. Why are we forced to rent Domains when we actually make up our individual domain names? Our ideas, our property. Laws need to protect small businesses and protect their brand. I hope Domain ownership will be available with no catch and no expense. I hate renting!

You mentioned something about if for example you're using namecheap and the domain is pointing to siteground hosting provider, we need to go siteground and change the DNS settings. My question is that what exactly are we going to be changing in the DNS settings

yep I do! here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmrSeoCde9p6qrc The difference is how you verify it. Also Domain will verify your whole domain including subdomains such as yourdomain.com, courses.yourdomain.com, blog.yourdomain.com So for most people the Domain is better because you don't have subdomains... and even if you have them you can see all traffic in one search console.

you probably just need to update some domain DNS settings in Bluehost> This is because your Godaddy domain name, is pointing to Bluehost. So now Blue host is "in control" of your domain DNS. You can still have your email on Godaddy, no problem.
