Sir at 5:03 it shows me error in (getString(R.string.default_web_client_id)) and says cannot resolve symbol even though I have implemented the dependencies and sync gradle.

Run the app if its works without any problem its fine otherwise copy default_web_client_id from string file and paste at (getString(R.string.default_web_client_id)) with inverted comma .This is bug in android studio.

Please 🙏 create a video for storing the login details of user logged in through Google sign-in method using shared preferences. You haven't used the shared preferences for storing the user logged details in the app.

For Firebase authentication we havn't need offline share preferences. bcz you can check Firebase Auth already providing the instance if user already logged in or not. Here is code mUser = mAuth.getCurrentUser(); if (mUser != null) { Intent intent = new Intent(LoginActivity.this, MainActivity.class); startActivity(intent); finish();

inside SplashActivity or Login Activity you check if mUser!=null then open Home Activity .THis mUser is from FirebaseAuth that stored the id of logged in user .Try this
