I am a new seller and in the process of creating my first digital resource.So in case the buyer wants a printable copy of it , how should I upload that along with Google slides in the same resource ? I guess zip files sometimes don't open and are not preferred.So what's the way out ? I am still in the process of learning technology for my resources , so I'll appreciate if you could guide me regarding this. 2. Is it advisable to include a Google slide of the answer key along with other slides in the same file ? Thanks.

You can make a file in your Google Drive with the digital and PDF and then upload the file. I usually make it very clear that it is there and if teachers don't want their kids to see it, they can delete.

Hi Becca! Great video! I’m wondering how to preserve your links once you save your power point as png, or if you have to re-insert those links. Also, if I’m selling on TpT, can I even use purchased clip art to drop and drag. It seems like it’s not protected if you’re using it for that kind of activity.

You will have to reinsert the links. So I would not, because you’re right and people could right click it. You could save the clip art with a background and maybe the name to a slide and save that slide as a png- then those elements would be stuck together. If you have certain sets in mind, you can email the shop owners. Some are now selling what they call movable pieces which can be used in this type of environment!

Once I’ve made an Interactive Google Slide resource, how do I download it if I do not have PowerPoint? I’m using a MacBook Air. I’m not sure how to download to then sell on TPT. What do you suggest? Thank you!

No, not necessarily. That's probably fine for the kids to use if you're just using it in your own classroom, but if you're making materials to sell, you need to check on each image's copyright restrictions. They might be free for commercial use, with or without credit, but most likely they are not. That search that Becca showed is just bringing up random images. You can, however, find lots of free clipart available on Teachers Pay Teachers, many of which allow commercial use and usually just request that you provide a link back to their store. There are more that are available for purchase. There are other clipart and stock photo sites on the web where you can find images that are licensed for commercial use as well.

Do you have to go through all the securing steps with google slides like when doing power point before putting it on tpt?

If you are using clip art/fonts/etc, then you will need to secure it by saving it as pictures and then uploading, like I show in the video. You don’t want anyone to be able to copy and paste anything.

Hi Becca , I tried making my first Google Slides product but just one problem - on saving the slide as image file and later uploading it in the background , the image quality suffers a lot.Any suggestions how to fix it please ?I'll appreciate your help. Thanks.

That is why I do mine in Powerpoint! They tend to have a better quality.

If you would sell this on TPT, can you? How does a youtube link fit in with copyright laws for TPT products? If it's still linked to the person's channel - they still get credit for it, right? So is it okay to use a youtube video, like a Ted Talk, linked into a lesson and then make some kind of worksheet or assignment off of that video?

Yes you can sell it on tpt! You can include videos because in google slides, they really are links. So a view in a slide still counts as a view. Do check every year or so and make sure the links still work though!
