In the face of a potential "rotation" from tech into dividend/value investments predominantly due to the Fed's potential 2024 rate cuts, we might soon be looking at opportunities in the sector. Very interesting and I would add if I didn't have already a good position I bought at $68! For me it needs to go down more to add to my position. Also, it was around $100 just a year ago! I think it's a good point to start a position, but for already nice positions might be better to wait to see if there's a bigger correction or crash. Thanks!

Thanks for watching! Yeah, the market was crazy about them even as recent as 2 years ago. Very interesting how fasr the sentiment can change. Very nice price by the way, I bought around $80-90😊

Hey! Nope, this is normal in the current market. Car companies are very tied to the economy. They are just like any other automaker and what we see is the result of the currently weak environment, especially in the US. Most car producers reported issues this year, so I am not really worried. I am even considering adding some more if the issues continue. They are also in the financial shape to deal with such an environment for probably longer than most of their competitors, and being ready to cut out the unprofitable brands + lowering costs to meet the demand is also good in my opinion. What do you think?

@@Investing_With_Andrew thanks for reply I'd stay away from car manufacturers for the next year. I don't see how many car makers can profit in this environment.

Very high quality video as always Andrew, I think the market is also scared by the increase in Capex (basically doubled compared to last year) which could lower the FCF to say 55/60 billion and therefore with a P/FCF = 25 have a fair price of around 1400/1500 billion in capitalisation, which let's say is the price you also say in the video for your possible entry. What do you think Andrew about this increase in capex?

Thank you! I forgot to mention this even if it’s highlighted in one of the articles I shared 🙁 It depends, to be honest. I doubt it’s all "maintenance" CAPEX in their case, so if it is for development, it can also be a tailwind for future growth. Nonetheless, I think assuming a base FCF of ~60 is a safer bet anyway 👍
