I guess this is very highly respected Japanese culture of October Fools.
@Jiyoon02 Жыл бұрын
I've checked their blog and 1st of October is a Keyboard Day of a sort in Japan(or Google Japan at least). It says Q. 今日は 10 月 1 日ですよね? A. はい、今日は 10 月 1 日です! Which means, they are fooly aware that the video resembles April Fools joke and apparently they are fooly in for it.

@@Jiyoon02 God Japan feels like pun central the way the language constantly "plays off" of other words for slang and localization. I also notice its the bassline for a lot of jokes.

@@StrawV.2 Yeah, goroawase is a big part of Japanese, not just in humor it can be used for a ton of different situations, like remembering a PIN, making nicknames, abbreviations

@@StrawV.2it’s extremely common in Anime, most notable ones i remember are Franky from One Piece is calling himself hentai (pervert) and some people call him hentai (robots?) and sentai (transforming heroes) and when someone says taihen (oh my but became pervert if repeated) and there’s a lot more version of his calling but i’mm not that good at japanese so i only know these…

Always gotta love the people that worked at google adding the unecessary 'I work/ I used to work at google' before committing to anything they have to say.

@@vincentpelletier1246 its almost like it was necessary as it added context to his comment it implies he knows first hand how google in america works and how stark the contrast is from his experience at the company is compared to the japanese counterpart I know you are too fucking stupid to comprehend anything but hopefully this comment helped you overcome your brain rot
My favorite line at 1:06: "I have been trying to find a way to wear a keyboard on my head for a long time" said straight faced. Also love the classic Japanese show reaction from the keyboard guy in the corner during the interviews.
The japaense pronounciation for hope is like `kibou` which sounds similar to keyboard.@@sandwichygdrasil533

If you are confused, this is a running joke for over 11 years at google. Making fun of the unique challenges Japan has with it's multiple scripts. They come up with ridiculous 'solutions' to the 'problem' that is worse than what we already have.
