Kendrick's soul, his creativity, his individuality and his heart is what makes him special. He speaks the truth with a childlike spirit. Micheal Jackson and Tupac , all in one. He is a poet, a visionary, a genius. I love you K, I paint and write poetry, you inspire me everyday.

It’s like Tupac sayin “I see myself as a natural born hustler A true hustler in every sense of the word I took nothin’, I took the opportunities I worked at the most menial and degrading job And built myself up so I could get it to where I owned it I went from having somebody managing me To me hiring the person that works my management company I changed everything, I realized my destiny In a matter of five years, you know what I’m saying?”

+GODSON Official Music I think it's pretty objective, if us humans could entertain such objectivity. You just can't argue with his sick flows, hard work, knowledge and spirit. If someone don't like that then that means it's their opinion that's the problem :)
@AceDotCosta8 жыл бұрын
+GODSON Official Music Simply put, people fear actually not fitting in with the status quo. I done heard people say stupid shit like they don't understand what Kendrick be saying or talking about in his verses. It's not like he's trying hard to be overly complex with his style, it's pretty simple when you actually listen and understand what he's saying. But non the less they'll say they don't understand what he's saying or talking about, but will go and listen to future or young thug mumble some bullshit that no one understands, but yet they'll rock out to it like they understand it when they don't. Them type of fans are what I call dumb smart people.
@deandrefields89438 жыл бұрын

For better or worse all those mother fuckers changed the game forever, HOPEFULLY the next gen will draw from Kendrick to put him there, n I rly do think even if he died or retired rn that would happen
@finsimple43968 жыл бұрын
If he died people would praise him. For example, Biggie gets way too much credit, don't get me wrong, incredible rapper. However, he only released two albums during his lifetime. Kendrick's last 4 album's have been incredible, but people still put him so far under the rest.

I want to be a rapper. But I am not a lyricist. I don't have the extensive vocabulary. But I have the heart and soul for hip hop. I have the ear for Hip hop. I have the beats for hip hop. I have nothing but absolute love for hip hop. There is not a time I haven't had hip hop in my life. I'm not a gangster. But I've lived hardship. I've had life challenges. I'm very observant of the things around me. When it comes to art I'm a perfectionist. But in order to keep that spirit I have to have drive and inspiration. I am from the hood. But I never lived in the hood long enough to know what it was like. Instead I lived with the physical and psychological abuse of the hood through other people. Instead I lived with the knowledge of how to survive in a hostile environment from the streets and the hood. I am a Thug as Tupac defined it, "A person who is going through struggles or has gone through struggles and continues to live day by day." I can talk about love. I can talk about longing. I can talk about wishes. I can talk about hope. I can talk about life. I can talk about death. I can talk about struggle. I can talk about hope. I can talk about anger. I can talk about hatred. I can talk about wisdom. I can talk about the liars. I can talk about the phonys I can talk about the outside world. (Out of the hood or where you're from in general) I can talk about deceit. I can talk about honesty. I can talk about pain. I can talk about being a soldier. I can talk about what hip hop means to me.My favorites of the top of my head: -The Notorious BIG -2Pac -Nas -Eric B. & Rakim -Kendrick Lamar -J.Cole -Eminem -Kanye West (His Late Registration Album) -Dr.Dre (His Beats only) I choose these guys because them talking about life and their struggles and how they got through it made me calm down and look at life differently and also just have peace for those 3, 4, 5 minutes a track until the next track.
