Goon Learns How to Ride 2 stroke Dirtbike

Today was a more mellow day, wasn't as hyped up or talkative today since I was still learning the bike and was focused on trying not to crash.
Track was also a little sketchy, but I learned a thing or two so it's a win win.
Unfortunately I had to leave early since my tire was flat. I played with my suspension a ton as well and that got the bike feeling great but I had to leave shortly after doing so.

The massive airwheelies are from hitting the powerband on the lip. Its not as noticeable on a 125 or soft dirt. But if you get a 250 on hard pack it gets bad. You either need to be in the powerband before the face or letting off. No blipping on the face, you get away with it if your in a high enough gear to not hit the powerband but it's still not a good idea. There is no engine breaking so think of the throttle on a 2 stroke as an on/off switch. You don't really ever see fast guys hold half throttle on a 2 stroke. Hope that can help you as much as it did me! I had to airwheelie to my ass first to figure it out lol.

It’s not that you forgot how to brake tap bro you need to work on your smooth throttle it can be hard to keep it smooth a 250 though but you gotta learn. Love your vids bro keep it up

on a 2 stroke you can go up the face with more speed than you need and let off pretty much all the way if your is ever leaning forward to much lean back and rev it brings it back up.

That's what I LOVE about them. You can build your momentum and Coast. That does NOT work on a 4 stroke. I was a little chpppy with thw theottle on this video but I think next time I'm gonna do that 😭
