We, the loyal fans of Korean drama series, Goong/ Princess Hours, would like to express our opinion on the main casts for Goong Season 2. Especially for the 2 main characters, Shin and Chae Gyung, who were played by Joo Ji Hoon and Yoon Eun Hye. Both of them captured the viewers hearts through their brilliant performance. It will be very disappointing to know should Goong 2 replace all the original casts. Should this happen, we believe that Goong 2 will lack the support from us, the fans in Indonesia, China, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, US, Malaysia, and Vietnam.
We request for PD Hwang and other relevant parties to consider and make their choice wisely in this matter as we would love to support Goong 2 as much as Goong 1. We praised the scriptwriter, director, producers, the production crews and the casts for the story plot, the beautiful set and scenery and the heart-warming performances. We fell in love with this wonderful drama because of you, the Director, MBC and Eight Peaks.
Joo Ji Hoon and Yoon Eun Hye had proven to all of us that there is hope in the new generation of Korean dramas like what media said. We yearn to see them again in Goong 2.

this is the kdrama that you. can not help to watch over and over again..you fell in love with the characters and Yoon eun hye is the best actress of all time .she is very effective and versatile actress ..i. have learned to love kdrama and became interested to visit the country because of her..she is so talented and has a humble heart..hope to see her again in kdrama..i watched a lot of kdramas but her acting is incomparable especially if there is kissing scene it seems real and she is so passionate..conmpare to other korean actress.

Eight Peaks stated that they would aim to film Goong 2 in late 2007 or early 2008.[2][3] However, Yoon Eun Hye and Kim Jeong Hoon have stated their wishes to withdraw from Eight Peaks due to conflicting problems with the company. Yoon Eun Hye, one of the main character, has already ended her contract with Eight Peaks and has moved onto Kraze Entertainment.[4] Without the complete main characters of the first season, it is most likely there will be no sequel of Goong.

i just read this from wikipedia few minutes ago: there was controversy over who had the rights to make the sequel, and as a result, two separate parties planned different seasons. However, the sequel, Goong 2 will no longer be produced due to the withdrawal of two main actors. sad.. :(

Sadly guys there will be no Season 2 for Goong! The cast (particularly Yoon Eun Hye and Kim Jeong Hoon) terminated their contract in Eight Peaks company. Eun Hye moved to another company and Jeong Hoon made a new album. Without the original cast, there will be NO GOONG 2!! WAAHHHH
