😂😂 yup, not rebuilding anymore. Content has been trash for sooooo long. This thing is supposed to be built in a garage and all they did is did a body swap on a flooded at a shop and is going to be sooner or later oxidized piece of shit..

I'm surprised to see nobody mention that you lowered the car by releasing the preload on the coilovers. Not necessarily the wrong way to do it, depending on your goals with the car. But if you were trying to keep the same amount of preload on the springs and just lower the coilovers, you were supposed to do it by loosening the bottom collar (frame 3:15) and turning the whole coilover body (the threaded parts) into the sleeve.

You’re Messing with the spring load when you lower it from that top part, you’re suppossed to spin the bottom 🥹

What he said. You are supposed to adjust the height from the lower perch, which is the threaded gold part at the bottom of the coilover. When you do it that way, it won't affect the spring load and mess with the ride quality. It will only affect the height, which is what you want. Once you get the height dialed in, please do an alignment.

On Ohlins coilovers , don't you change ride height with lower leg adjustment not spring height/rate ? The lower coilover leg screws in/out hence lock out ring on lower leg .. u don't adjust tide height with spring pre load

GTR is insane for sure, wait till you go bigger hybrid turbos 50mm above, its mental! Also need a favor to ask, when you guys rip the white car apart, how did you remove the key lock for the rear trunk at the passenger floor matt? Also, you should lower the height through the bottom ring a.k.a bodyshift, not from the spring ring, those will change the preload.

Thats not the ride height adjuster, thats coil spring pre load, re adjust the spring pre load and adjust the height by threading the damper body down at the spindle attachment point. The way you have lowered it runs the damper travel down, possibly bottoming out the damper bringing the damper fluid temperature up. Causing premature seal failure, and bottoming out the damper is not good for the valving... Lots of hard work done in a short amount of time... It's awesome work and I've enjoyed watching this project... the work is fantastic!!!
