CONGRATS! I shot a CANADA SCOTCH DOUBLE last season with both geese banded less that 5 miles from hunt site.

Certainly a good day out hunting. Always a good feeling when you get the "two for one deal". I did it on a couple of teal this year but forgot to wake up the Shotkam ,LOL. Was any of the birds destined for the Christmas table? Thanks from Down Under.

Hi,nothing so exotic as kangaroo for Christmas😂,just some store bought turkey. The kangaroo are actually protected and can only be shot under a special licence. The two species of teal we have are grey and chestnut teal.😊

@ I hoped it would be something typical from the bush 😉 but its the american way 😂 nice looking duck, that chestnut teal! Here only the green wing and the Garganey teal. (Hope I say it correct in english) I wish you all the best for 2025!

@@musherstails morning musher, thanks for watching. 😃 Indeed the birds were not coming in great on the decoys this time. All the birds in the bag, with thanks to my buddy who was sitting 100 meter behind me. He picked a few “gliders” up for me, and the rest was good exercise for me. Reminding me how good my dogs are 😂 nice way to say fur and feathers 😃 i also wish you the best for 2025! Love to see Some more grey coats on your wall 😉
