Love how different you 2 taste things. I used to only drink Miller lite, then moved to Grand Rapids MI known as beer city USA. After drinking craft beer I now love IPA’s and can’t stand Miler Lite lol. They are very hoppy and make me happy. Hazy IPA usually taste like grapefruit or strong citrus which I don’t like.

My wife and I mostly drink the sour ales since some of them taste really good and don't taste like regular beer at all. There's a key lime pie beer made in town and it tastes exactly like a sour key lime pie. Pretty sure it's not available outside wisconsin yet though. My wife is the same way about hops, she hates beer with a lot of hops in them and thinks they taste like a skunk.

Being in Kentucky, you should do some bourbon reviews? The Hazy IPA's (NEIPA) usually have grapefruit, pineapple, or other citrus tastes with a variety of bitter from hops. As someone who didn't like IPAs before I enjoy them. They are definitely an acquired taste. Should try some wheat beer or heavier malty beer. Not all beer is bitter. I haven't had the goose island hazy ipa but I would suggest trying a different one of that style. Laquintas Little Sumtin Sumtin is a nice wheated ipa that has a little wheat beer mix with hops bitterness that I found enjoyable.

I drank beer in college so there was no flavored beer back then. I prefer a cider beer, wine or whiskey. These just don’t sound great. Loving these reviews.

They taste strong because it's real beer the beers she listed that taste different are all big commercial beers there's a reason beer enthusiasts call those kind of beers piss water it's because they have very little ingredient like hops compared to the real beers.

I think there are beer lovers who dislike the much hoppier IPA's. Personally, I prefer a high quality beer (not the cheap kind like Budweiser) over IPA's. I agree about the "sick" taste.

There sure are some horrible weird beers out there these days! A friend had me try a beer that he found in Trader Joe's the other day called "Simpler Times"...some sort of Pilsner beer that was super cheap, like $4.50 for a 6 pack. This stuff is HORRID! So, if you ever see it at TJ's, don't buy it lol!
