I see that Polyphia inspired a lot of kids or new players out there to start learning and playing guitar. But I believe that they also inspire a lot of guitarists that have not been playing for a long long time to play again. And I am one of them. Really grateful to have found Polyphia, Ichika, Manuel, and Mateus Asato.. EDIT: MY BIG MISTAKE FORGETTING Yvette Young on the list. She just randomly popped on my KZbin home page, and I remembered when I first saw and heard Covet and it was like crazy smooth and good. Then I got reminded of this comment of mine LMAO.

Yeah bro, my senior from college introduced me to polyphia songs, i never ever touched guitar in my life before he played and showed me songs like playing god, goose, the worst, really he played so well he's the reason I started learning guitar now.
@alieffauzanrizky72024 ай бұрын
What i can see is it inspire new players to learn more complex and difficult technique earlier on their guitar playing journey, so that's why most "Gen Z" play technically difficult songs on social media since they learn it way faster than older player does. Good for them. Most people can only dream to play hard stuff like that
@preston26364 ай бұрын
@@alieffauzanrizky7202its cause old players sre intellectually lazy and cant get past pentatonic minor. There were amazing guitarists in the 80s just like there is now. Maybe not as many. But not having the internet is no excuse to be a shitty guitarist. The boomers and baby boomers just sucked at guitar. Many great classical and flamenco guitarist before the 50s, and a after the 80s. But there 25 to 30 year stretch from the 70s to the 90s guitar playing just absolutely sucked beaides shrapnel guys like becker and yngwie. Im so glad guitar made its return to goo technique and using theory because pentatonic minor and power cords shouldve died off 20 years ago
