the one in the TV show is actually Wally Wood, Slappy's brother. they made Wally first/didn't have the time/money to make Slappy, so they just used Wally as Slappy.

omg OK so slappys afriad of termites, are termites an equivalent to maggots for him? if so, does rotting flesh scare him? do human organs scare him? does gore frighten him? I feel like he would NOT enjoy seeing human guts being splattered and spilt everywhere, he would probably get rly uncomfortable. just, imagine if you were an organism that did not possess insides like that. your insides are strings and wires, and them being spilt isn't messy. but people guts? that would absolutely freak him out in my opinion.
