I just got inadmissible for 5years yesterday 😭😭😭for misrepresentation when I’m innocent because I hired an agent to do everything but in the letter they said you are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements.I’m confused please explain does it mean I can still apply again.

I am from cameroon and to be honest with you most visa applications are don with the help of agents, some of are fraudsters and a few honest one. my problem is, in 2018 I applied for a student visa in Canada with the help of an agent, but i was refused the visa and banned for 5 years pertaining to misrepresentation... since 2018 till date i have not set my eyes on him to even know which documents were forged or not sent as requested.I don't know if there is any hope for me remedying the situation. Because i will really like to reapply.

Hi sir , on 12 aug I applied for study visa permit for canada and i made a mistake on form IMM 1294 ..there was a question that “ Have you previously applied to enter and remain in canada ?” And i selected No ..but in 2020 there was program IEP ( international experience program) which is held by my university and i applied for that and that time i and other many students applied for visitor visa with help of agency but due to covid - 19 the program was cancelled and all the applicant's visa application were withdraw .. I was done with biometrics as well as got UCI number that time .... but honestly i forgot to mention this thing in that form and now i realise that it is essential to mention that information Now what should i do ???please give me a solution Do ircc and vfs global have withdrawal application records ? Due to this mistake will I charge for misrepresentations ?? Will my study visa affect for this ???

I applied for my study permit in 2022 and during my application i misunderstood the question where I was asked about my previous refusals. I said no and later i realized that the USA visit visa refusal was required to be mentioned. I panic and i immediately informed the immigration with updated imme form. I thought i explained them that i misunderstood the context of the question and no one asked me to update this. i am updated it with honesty as it was purely unintentional. I raised the webform within 10 days of my application submission where I wasnt even asked about my medical or my background checks was also not passed. I got my visa approved in 30 days and i thought they updated this information. I came to canada and then i received a response of my webform saying the information i provided is verified but there is no application in running so i have to upload this information in my next application. I am worried i have worked so hard to be here. My visa is expiring 2024 and i might have to extend my study permit. Please help me am i still in trouble. will they put a ban on me. my mistake was a innocent mistake how should i proceed with this

Sir , Thank you for this My husband’s case is quite unusual. He applied the first time and he was told that the visa was refused because he used a micro finance bank instead of a commercial bank . The second time he replied and the application was rejected and the email read that he was banned for misrepresentation during the first application which he will have to wait for 5 years . But this is actually not true cause he was not banned ! How do we do this .

Hi , Below is the exact wordings of PFL received by my colleague of late “ I have concerns that you do not meet the requirement put upon you by subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA), which states: 16(1) A person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires. I have additional concerns that you may be inadmissible under subsection 40(1) of IRPA, which states: 40(1) A permanent resident or a foreign national is inadmissible for misrepresentation (a) for directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts relating to a relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of this Act. Specifically, I have concerns that you have provided a fraudulent or improperly obtained Labour Market Impact Assessment number in your application for a work permit, which if undetected could have induced an error in the administration of The Act, in that a visa/work permit could have been issued in error based on fraudulent information. Please provide your explanation.” Here for 16(1) officer has not specified the reason.Hence I assume that here as you mentioned ,16(1) of the act came into picture because of LMIA number issue which was specifically mentioned by officer for 40(1). Hence I believe 16(1) & 40(1) are effectively the same for misrepresentation. Hope you will throw some light ,thankyou very much.
