Surprising that she isn’t some high energy spastic adult-child, but also makes perfect sense that she could be reserved and nervous at the large scale that is her audience

Seeing this interview 2 years later, after the pilot for TADC is honestly, almost heartwarming? I don't think that's the right word but it's close enough. It's so damn cool to see progress Goose has made on the fears she voices here, especially after being a fan of hers ever since Little Runmo randomly appeared in my recommended a few years back

I love gooseworx to death, her visuals and musical style is beyond comparison to anyone else, but she deserves to take everything at the pace she needs to take, people will come when it’s out. Im loving her daily doodles but I would appreciate that she doesn’t force herself to do it if she doesn’t feel good about it

9 months later, and she's created the single most successful animated pilot... ever? I'm genuinely kinda worried for her mental wellbeing. I've seen plenty of hide-behind-the-art artists collapse beneath the weight of sudden fame. I hope she's found a good councillor to help her deal with things.

This is why I look up to Gooseworx. I love animating, but it’s super hard to do by yourself if you do it traditionally, so it makes me happy to see that it’s possible to do it yourself, without storyboards, and without planned stories!

I personally view Gooseworx stuff similarly to David Firth's. Not that they're creepy or disturbing like David's but more of that I see them more as an artist first and an "IP maker" if that makes sense. She has these ideas she wants to convey and she has her own particular way of doing so. I don't think I'd be wrong in saying that the creative process and experimenting is part of the experience for her. Again similarly to David's work, I just want to eat up as much of their work as possible and see what is going on in their mind.

I’ve loved Gooseworx since I found her in…2017, I think? It’s been really neat seeing her work develop over the years. Watching this video right after the release of The Amazing Digital Circus is a treat, knowing that Goose has kept growing as a person and artist is great to see. Did not expect Mayor Larlax to be brought up or shown in this video! My favorite work of hers, even if it only stayed as a concept. :(

Almost done watching the video, right before Halloween haha. It's so cool to see the development of Gooseworx. I only found out about her recently from her work on Glitch Productions (and wanted to give this a watch before watching TADC) but I have unknowingly been exposed to her works long before then. So inspiring to hear about her development and also see where she's at now, especially as an artist myself. And the video is really well done, so thank you for putting it together.

I discovered this 2 years later, and i must say that i am very happy she got to work on The Amazing Digital Circus with other people. Even if it is just the pilot for now it has Gooseworx written all over it, so the style was retained, but also it is turning out amazingly. I just hope all the audience that it has got does make her panic

@ferociousfeind8538 Жыл бұрын
17:06 This is funny because Steven Universe infamously did not have references for the characters, and the writers/directors/whatevers for each episode were sort of in charge of how the characters looked in proportion and movement for their episodes. Sometimes Peridot is taller, sometimes she's a minuscule little dorito girl. Sometimes amethyst has got that "no!!" mouth, sometimes she doesn't

I know Gooseworx has done work with OneyPlays and didn't know about her catalogue until this video. Glad this introduced me to her work and look forward to digging into the treasure chest. I also appreciate internet creators with unpredictable creative processes. They don't have a full story in their head most of the time. It really breaks the myth that creating always happens like an automatic possession or only prodigies can create. Really it's about determination and discipline and using even the smallest amount of talent to its full potential. We should celebrate more naivete in creative freedom rather than strict guidelines forced by industries and education systems. Sometimes going in blind with no standards to follow can make the best art.
