Thanks buddy that really helps, I just read the rules and it is mandatory for new riders to race beginner open first time out and I'm more than good with that the first year! Going to shoot for the June 12 Shannonville race as my launch, got to get some saddle time in before I dive in. See you at the gate.🏁

You got a lot of guts Nick, just received my 2022 AMO Open Beginner #43 and me being 54 years old was wondering if there is age limit in this class? also got #23 in 50+ VET and last raced when I was 25 last rode 15 years ago, what class you think is best for me? Thanks Mike

Right on, I would say the VET 50+ would be the better class for yourself. There’s no age limit for Open Beginner however it can be chaotic with all the new riders. If you decide VET 50 isn’t challenging enough for you, I think you could jump down to the VET 40 or VET 30 as well. Either way your guaranteed to have a blast, best of luck this season!
