I thought night fever was a dupe for Essie any fin goes, really darn close! The white speckly one, I swear is a. Linolium tile and b.the darn speckle ceiling in every 70s building and still in many buildings. Im 56 and remember that ceiling and those tiles everywhere. That polish made me laugh out loud when I opened the box!

I really like the white with specks, and the formula looks dreamy. I also like the powder blue, but I already have so many close to that shade that I'll hold off. Thank you for showing this collection!

I’m always so glad I don’t subscribe to color pass. I’ve considered it many times, but I never like everything in the collection, so I just wait for a sale and grab the couple I like. Yes, it's good to skip a collection as a whole sometimes. That's why I love doing comparsions. Do we really need them all- probably not, but sometimes ❤ I should have mentioned the vintage logo! Totally forgot so I am glad you brought that up!

I'm 65 and what I remember about the 70s is pale pink and pale peach frosty shades. The blue and the coral are my picks but I know neither one would look good with my skintone. Fun review, Laurie! Piper...😂

Ah the 70's LOL I'm 70 years old next week and I see this and it feels gimmicky cuz I lived it LOL Pretty colors. However that last polish, never in my whole life and we didn't wear it then either haha. Anyway, maybe on ONE nail at a Christmas/New Year's party. Fugly LOL But a great video as usual! Thanks!!

@@GoPolished I know. I took one of those color tests where you keep picking the shades and they get closer and closer. People who can pick out subtle shades have jobs for polish, paint, etc. companies. I think people who love polish can tell the smallest difference. I can see all the differences in a red, but my sister is like, they're all red and they all look the same. LOL It takes me weeks to pick out a color for the house. Some people are just more sensitive to colors. That color, or that mix of colors, offends my sense of taste HA HA

Thank you for this video. I like this whole collection. Love Night Fever and Bell Bottom Blues. I would wear Night Fever, but probably not BBB, because it doesn’t complement my skin tone. Love the glitter-y one also, but avoid glitters because my nails don’t take the removal process too well. Not sure where you see white in NF, but I guess that is why you are the expert and I trust your comments and reviews.❤

Have you tried soaking off glitter polish or using a peel-off base coat?

Not including avocado green was a huge miss, in my opinion. 😢 Also, when I saw Bell Bottom Blues, I immediately thought of Essie Bikini So Teeny. Im guessing BST runs a touch more periwinkle, and maybe not as bright? I love BST, and I'm trying to decide if I need this Orly shade, too! 😂

I love the crelly makes me crave vanilla ice cream! The coral, yellow and blue are also sooo good! The nude a little basic, and the glitter is…interesting lol but overall a cute collection!!! Thank you for the great review!!!

I think "Connect the Dots" from the 2022 summer color pass box is very very close to "Night Fever." "Acid Trip" would be great for Lunar New Year! An avocado green would've been a great addition to this collection. Do you have any recommendations for one?

Well…I’m with you on the shades. I’m not a warm yellow fan at all. So that polish is out. I don’t wear nudes. Bohemian Child is okay and Acid Trip is pretty for fall! I like those glitter colors for the fall! So I’m not over the moon on this color story. I can think of many other colors that are much more emblematic of the 70’s that I would much rather have seen in this collection. So overall it’s mostly a miss for me. I only liked a few of the winter/ holiday box also so that was mostly a miss, too. I was on Color Pass at the time so I had to close the account in order to “skip” the box. I wish Orly just had a skip option because most everyone will end up not liking a box here and there. Unfortunately for me, I ended up unwell and miss the notification that if we didn’t have a current Color Pass subscription it was going to go up substantially on Feb. 1st. I read their notice about this on Feb. 2. It’s a huge increase so I’m seriously thinking of just going without the Orly Color Box subscription. That makes me sad but paying $49.00 for Color Pass now rather than the $36.00 I was paying and would now be paying had I been well and noticed the warning in time is too much of a jump for me right now. I missed this by 1 day!!! I’m so bummed! Things are so tight for many right now, me included, I just can’t justify this. I love Orly so much so color me blue right now!🟦 Excellent video though, Laurie!💗

What Orly shade would be closest to Cajun Shrimp? I’m using Orly in salon and am wanting to have comparisons for the popular OPI shades. Funny bunny, bubble bath, strawberry margarita, put it in neutral and Lincoln park after dark as well. Do you have a video for that? Thanks

Happy to see your review and swatch of this one. When I received my Colorpass box I was very excited about the theme but a little underwhelmed. Not including avocado green is a huge miss for me - it's in the description of the theme! Another tan is disappointing - Apres Ski had a very similar one - there always seems to be one in every collection. I am not much of a glitter wearer so that one may or may not get used - maybe an accent nail in the fall. I like the blue and coral the best and I am not likely to use the charms but they are very 70's. I have an old photo album that is bright yellow with smiley faces and I remember my parents having an avocado green shag area rug when I was young.
