This has got to be the worst year to win a championship, the person who lost it has completely overshadowed who took the title. Regardless, gutted for AC would’ve been amazing to see him finally get that title.

nothing new, AC lost it two times in a row by only 2points back 2back. 3rd one was on him and he let the pressure of being a 250 sx champ get the best of him. triple before that section he lost it on. he looked back over the triple and started to worry what's behinde him instead of what's infront of him. he should never had to look back cause he was good

Guy coming from behind can catch up with wins & guy who wins the most has best shot. Cannot believe AC's mechanics did not have a piece of pipe with to quick straighten bars and align forks.

Major props to mechanic B Zimmerman, he jumped into action, I love seeing the team effort. You can definitely tell that the forks twisted in the clamps jacking the wheel sideways. Brutal. AC will fight another day. 250 series are difficult being shorter, no room for error or injury.

when he looked back of the triple is what made him not think about that next section. went to far left and caught that block on his footpeg and nosed dive. that last before his crash, he started to think about the title then what's going on

There was a dug out, blue groove section of the landing where just about everyone had been landing on the gas all night. AC landed in the same area as everyone else, but his back wheel lost traction when he landed on the blue groove and the back end kicked to the right. This caused him to veer left into the tuff blocks and fly forward over the handlebars off of the next jump. Bars and triple clamps were the first things into the dirt, and were very bent. I don't think anybody could have ridden that bike well after that, it was badly tweaked.
