They just opened one of these car washes in my part of GA what are the prices?Do you have to take your antenna off first?I have a truck that had a short antenna and it bent every time I went into the one I go to then it bent I straightened it out again it broke.The one I go to now swifty has free vacuums the price starts out at $6.00 it was 3 when it first opened.

I had spent several hours on a friends car that was neglected. Decontaminated, clayed, compounded, polished, and sealed. Finished paint looked flawless. Talked to him on proper washing and maintenance procedures to keep the swirling to a minimum.I saw the car 3 months later and the paint was already showing light to moderate swirling. Owner said he didn’t have the time to wash the car so he would take it to one of these high tech car washes. Don’t listen to anyone who says these places won’t damage your paint. Bullshit!

That's why when I do peoples cars I do everything but just a one step and seal it. I tell them if they don't know how to maintain it I'm not gonna spend 8+ hours polishing it making it perfect just to have it destroyed in under 5 minutes 🤣 plus I only charge them $100 for it too.

These detailers say that to you to get business, and the material used in these washes are too soft to scratch your vehicle, and they are completely safe on your paint. The only way you are going to get scratches is from poor prep jobs. You have a higher chance of scratching your cars paint by hand washing than getting them here.

superchargedregal That’s not true. Car wash brushes are made with a closed cell material which cannot retain dirt or sand. A prep brush though. I agree those can scratch. But trust me your car is gonna be safe as long as the wash is maintained.

@gl0ck10mm Here's how scratches happen: -poor prepping (not equipment fault) -not enough lubrication and or soap -malfunctioning equipment You have a higher chance of scratching your car by washing by hand than one of these washes doing damage. Why do you think these washes use very high quality cameras at the entrance of the tunnel? To stop false claims of damage. I've stuck my hand in moving brushes, and didn't hurt me or cut me. So riddle me this, if it scratches paint, wouldn't it cut me up?

Edvin Hernodh there is no dirt on my car in this visit. But I hate hand brushes (nylon, or hair type) they can scratch. But I visit these types of washes on a regular basis (3x a week) and I have no scratches from these washes.
