I just got it and love it. One thing to add that is not a hot shoe it’s a cold shoe.

The Media Mod has Two COLD Shoe mounts, Not Hot Shoe. The Light Mod has strobe, but is NOT a flash, but a flood light for Video or stills. The light mode is: Rechargeable with run time up to 6 hours. Level 3: 125 lumens, 120 lux @1m Level 2: 60 lumens Level 1: 20 lumens Runtime: 1 hour at Level 3, 2 hours at Level 2, 6 hours at Level 1 Color temperature without diffuser: 5700K Maybe a little reading of the manual before making a video would be in order.

You had it fitted back to front, also you need to connect the grip to the usb in battery compartment in order to setup the grip and update firmware then you can connect lead from grip to back of camera. Instruction card does highlight this.

They're the same, the creator edition is just more expensive and includes more accessories (such as the media mod, volta handle etc)

Hi thanks for the video. I see your go pro mount on the top of the handle was facing the wrong way upon unpacking like mine. So when you use the tripod the camera is on an angle and you can’t adjust the angle because the camera is facing sideways on the handle. Did you figure out how to turn the camera 90 degrees while mounted on the handle? Thanks

You can't take the creators kit in to the water , so this has nothing to do with being able to keep up with the battery life when don't want to change battery because its wet
