Yes, don’t do it unless you water coat it 😅 don’t take me as an example as I didn’t water coat mine lol just be careful and avoid the spray 🙌🏼

Just got the GoPro Hero 12 for a trip - Any tips for recording/taking photos while diving and traveling? Tested some presets, but it turned out grainy and lower quality than expected. I want to capture impressive and good videos without needing to color grade, as I'm not expirienced

I actually haven't, I was quite surprised too! I wouldn't recommend it though as the risk of frying the drone is quite high 🤣

Thanks so much, I used a Rhode shotgun mic hence the clarity in the audio :)

Yes definitely possible, make sure to shoot in 5k 30 or 24fps

Great captures and editing. However, just wondering where are the tips? Such as what setting in different light environments, on the mountain or unedr the water?

There are some tips here and there through out the video. On the mountain mostly was shot in 5K 8:7 30FPS with a nd16 filter. Underwater was 4K 8:7 60FPS with white balance set to 6000K :)

guessing the goggles are to see what the drone sees and since the go pro is at the same angle you are essentailly seeing what the go pro captures, and the reason for the go pro is that its just better quality

When you shoot with the max lens mod, as there is no ND filters, how do you handle when there is too much light? Auto shutter speed?

Yes that’s right, unfortunately no ND’s on the max Lense mod so I would keep iso at 100max and shutter on auto. Auto shutter with 60fps is fine. Wouldn’t recommend when shooting in 30fps as footage may come out blurry due to vibrations from hand movement or the FPV drone

Unfortunately not, you wouldn’t shoot 60 fps and 1/60 anyways. If anything you would shoot at 1/120 which may be too bright but you can also just have the shutter on auto
