Man, there was so much in the video. From the beginning shots of the sky (I could see several clusters looking like other galaxies) to the excellent riding content to those exquisite shots of the eastern sierras at the end. Makes me miss Mammoth so much

Lucas, those time lapsed stars were exceptional. Check out east side of Lake Tahoe and the Flume trail. Perfect for an E-Bike, and scenery is about as good as it gets. Start at Spooner Lake right off the main highway.

That’s pretty cool! I’ve biked Mammoth a few times and it’s fun but some trails are no joke. You’ve really progressed and handled some technical areas pretty well. I still don’t go on the Pro level trails you hit. Good job!

Did I see some new paint on Luna? She was looking very clean. What did you think of the weight of the eBike vs. traditional? Did it impact your riding?

She did get some new paint on her when I did the rust repair back in July. The e-bike was heavier than I expected. It was nice to have the assistance when traversing over the mountain, but it was definitely difficult to throw the bike around on the downhills like I’m used to.

Yeah, the weight of the e-bikes have been my big issue as well. You’re hauling around and extra 20-30 lbs.

You can use GoPro 12 (and 11) to make HLG HDR videos. BTW, did you use ND?

The H12 now shoots in HDR straight out of camera which is very cool! A few shots I used ND but for the most part, I was using max lens mod so I couldn’t put an ND on.

@@LucasCatania17 I like the smooth motion blur in the sunlight. For HDR, I guess it’s the same word but different meaning. Your video is not in HDR gamut. The GoPro 12 HDR seems to be SDR with better dynamic range. Check out my videos on an HDR display (iPhone 12 and above has it) you will see the diff.

The drone shots were not filmed on a GoPro and I think there were a few GoPro shots filmed with the hero 11, but for the most part - yeah everything on the H12!
